You’re Not Dropping the Ball.
You’re Carrying Too Many.

Let the Calm Calendar Club help you set a few of them down.

“Practicing this every quarter has helped me find a flow.”

🟢 Calm Calendar Club is for you if:
  • You care deeply about your work but don’t want it to consume your life.
  • You’re tired of reacting to your calendar and want to feel proactive.
  • You crave structure — but only the kind that respects your capacity.
  • You’ve tried planners, apps, and systems… and none quite fit.
  • You want planning to help you protect rest, not eliminate it.
  • You like the idea of gentle accountability and live support.
  • You believe your time should reflect your values.
🔴 Calm Calendar Club is NOT for you if:

  • You want to maximize every minute for peak productivity.
  • You’re looking for a rigid, one-size-fits-all planning formula.
  • You believe rest is something you “earn” after you finish everything.
  • You prefer to work completely alone with no live support.
  • You want a hustle culture bootcamp.
  • You’re committed to staying overwhelmed.
"Letting go of perfection and boiling things down to the essentials is something we NEED to give ourselves permission to do.  Re-evaluate where our "best" can look different than what we may expect from ourselves currently."
Jenn R.
This Isn’t a Discipline Problem.It’s a Bandwidth Problem.
You’re likely juggling:
  • Aging parents
  • Teenagers who need rides and emotional processing
  • A demanding career
  • A household’s invisible labor
  • Your own changing brain and body
Of course you’re tired.
Of course you can’t decide what’s for dinner.
Of course your brain feels foggy at 3 p.m.

This isn’t laziness. It’s mental load + decision fatigue + midlife cognitive shifts.

And most productivity systems pretend those things don’t exist.

Calm Calendar Club doesn’t.
👋 Hi, I'm Nicole Havelka

I’m a burnout recovery coach, ordained pastor, yoga and meditation teacher, and the host of the Just Rest: Burnout Tips for Everyday Radicals podcast. I founded Defy the Trend in 2018 after more than a decade trying to create change inside institutions that said they wanted transformation … right up until things actually started to change.

That experience burned me out.

What brought me back wasn’t a color-coded planner or a productivity hack. It was yoga. Meditation. Deep values work. Honest conversations. And learning how to align my calendar with what actually matters.

Here’s what I discovered: almost every burned-out, justice-minded, big-hearted leader I talked to had the same complaint:

“I don’t have time.”

So I started teaching planning — but not the bro-marketed, optimize-your-morning-routine kind. I teach values-based, capacity-honoring planning that helps you build systems around your life instead of squeezing your life into a system.

Through my coaching, workshops, and my podcast Just Rest, I help activists, clergy, nonprofit leaders, creatives, and values-driven professionals calm their calendars so they can do meaningful work without losing themselves.
